Research and Development (R&D) leads to innovative solutions and gives a competitive advantage to the companies in their field of interest. In ARMES constant research and development help us to improve all our products and also inspires us to create new products and applications more competitive. Research in the fields of computer vision, graphics and human-computer interaction allow us to improve the performance of our trackers and design new applications of augmented reality and interactive installations.

Besides the research for our products ARMES is also taking part into local research projects for the use of Augmented Reality in maintenance. Moreover ARMES is also interested in the evaluation of interactive installations (Augmented Reality, Multi-touch surfaces, Virtual Reality etc) and their use as educational tools. As part of this evaluation process ARMES took part in the publication of a full paper at Euromed 2010 for a comparative study of interactive study in a museum.
