What is interactivity?

The above is the dictionary-like keyword definition of the word  ‘interactive’ as it appeared on the cover of Newsweek magazine on May 31, 1993.

Since then interactivity has become very popular and with the continued technological changes interactivity will become more common and more ways of interaction will appear. 

Interactivity is something that gives the contol to the user, with interctive installations the users are being transformed to active. A lot of technologies can be used in order to implement an interactive system, in ARMES we have experience in various interaction modes, such as: augmented reality, multitouch surfaces,physical  manipulation, gestures, voice/speech and others.

What is Augmented Reality

Augmented reality is a novel technology mixing the real world with the virtual world. Integrates 3D virtual objects into live video and allows the user to interact with those objects. Augmented reality powers a new impressive generation of functional applications for education and training as well as creative applications for entertainment and advertising

Is the combination of a real scene viewed by a user and a virtual scene generated by a computer
